Need sailing tips for international travel?!?!?
What kind of boats and ships are best for international travel? How do I make a course? I know the winds travel from north to south in the winter. So how do I get from Washington to russia without wind issues, currents, sea creatures, and others? Will sharks smell me and bite the boat?? Someday, I'd like to sail the world. But being a kid, I'm only learning for now.
Should i stop everything and focus on my dream of buying a boat and sailing the world?
i have a small income and would have to live like a monk for 5 years to buy a 35 40 feet cheapest boat, carbon fiber is cheaper but steel is more reliable in the long term. Also i would have to generate income on the move, any good suggestions on that? i thought i could teach diving to tourists or carry a couple of paragliders on the boat and charge a fee for that. It may be a pipe dream but i like to think its not so farfetched.

I sail a small boat called a butterfly competitively and recently my mother said if I get all A this trimester she would buy me one. You may think... Spoiled child. But for me this is like a huge excitement I am a very good student and usually get all a's. Oh If you do not know what a butterfly sailboat is, it is a small boat about the size of a laser it is a scow and is a lot of fun I love tipping it an dry walking it. So the question was what colors the custom race sails are ?? Do they have awesome unique colors?? I want some thing that stands out Please answer Yeah... I prefer experienced peeps

How do I get the back of my sail to stop flapping in strong winds in my topper?
When I sail my topper sailing dinghy in strong winds the back of my sail flaps really badly it's race rigged if that helps but I've asked every sailer I know and no one knows what's going on please help
