Paul, you have no idea in what info is needed to figure the "Optimal " prop. There's a bunch of info a prop shop will ask. Boat year, Boat model, Boat weight on average, out drive brand, outdrive gear ratio, Model, Engine size, Engine HP, Elevation that you typically run the boat, and the list is about 50 questions. Just this simple question cannot be answered by anyone here on this forum with any accuracy. The prop that came on the boat is the best "Overall " prop for a wide variety of conditions and loads. Is it the best, No. Can it be better, yes. But at what price are you willing to pay? Or what are you willing to give up? You'll be sacrificing something to get something. What are you looking for? Hotter launch? Higher top speed? Fuel economy? What? You won't get all of them in a single prop. You'll increase one at the sacrifice of another. It's Physics.

There are many options first U need to know what your boat RPM turns at wide open throttle with a load in the boat. If it turn to many RPMs than increase the pitch 1 pitch that will lower the RPM 200 to 250 RPM same goes if not enough RPMs 1 less pitch.Best to contact a prop shop and they can walk U there what U need.

You won't get any answres on here because there is no way anyone on here can give you an answer. You need to go to a company that specializes in MARINE PROPELLERS and you will need to know a ton of information about your boar so they can plug it into their computer program to tell you the exace size and pitch of the prop. Do you even know if you have a LEFT HAND or RIGHT HAND prop?.. then you probably don't know off hand any of the other information they will need.
