Question: How do i remove my prop on my 115 mecury outboard 2001?

I see there is a star with 8 pins looks like 2 are keys.

Bend the keys out. place a block of wood between prop and cavitation plate (above prop), or have somebody strong enough to hold the prop while you turn the nut. lube splines with 101 lube (from merc) before putting a prop back on, or it may never come off again. torque to 55 lb fts and bend keys back down.

U have to bend the tabs flat and then remove the nut and parts.
