I have a 15 ft rinker tri hull boat and use a 9.9 mercury now for trolling. Problem is I need more speed to get to other parts of a Lake. The 9.9 is the only motor I have for the boat but it is to slow traveling to other parts of a fairly big lake. Have a chance to buy 2003 mercury 25 hp 2 stroke which runs great and is a good deal. I don't want to put a mount on the boat for the 9.9 for trolling. .Any problems uing the 25hp for trolling? Will it hurt the engine at all using it for trolling?.
Why does a mercury outboard 1993 90hp elpto beep?
I have a 1993 90hp elpto on a duracraft. It is beeping. Is it getting too hot? It seemed that when I put the trim all the way down, it would beep. If I raised it, it would stop. Does that mean I'm low on oil?

Hi I have a mercury 9.8hp outboard 2 stroke, model 110 and would like to know if anyone could find or know what the year is, the serial number is 9078220 . just cant find the year anywhere plus just want to know if it is 9.8hp cause it dosent say it anywhere and just recently brought it.what's a series number all it says on the plate is 9078220 ?
