Question: Should i give an everstart marine battery an initial charge before use?

I have a new deep cycle 12V 120 Amp hours Everstart marine battery. I was wondering if I should charge the battery before I take it out and use it for the first time?

Won't hurt. Use a quality multi-stage charger. If you charge the battery after every trip and use a maintenance charger for storage your battery will last many times longer than otherwise.
