What is a good jet ski brand for recreational fun?

We are looking into purchasing 2 2000 Kawasaki STX 1100s, with a 4 place Zieman trailer.I have not seen the skis yet, BUT here are some vague details both have around 90 hours on them. They are in great shape, fresh tune up from his dealer in CA, one has some aftermarket parts and it capeable of 77mph, the other is stock.He has added a small 'box' on the front of the trailer for accessories and has a fuel rack for the jugs.He is asking $5000, is that reasonable? Also, does anyone own these skis? What do you think?As always,thanks a TON corrie

My jet ski won't turn over?
Long story short. I got the ski 1996 Kawasaki 900szi ready in the spring and we had it running great with ZERO problems. Well, we finally got a new lift 2 months later with it sitting in the garage and we tried to start it with no avail. I bought a new battery thinking that was the issue...still it would not even turn over. We checked the fusses and the battery connections and it still won't turn over. the ski IS getting power the gauges come on , it just won't turn over. I have no idea what is wrong. it has a new battery that we even had checked , good cable connectors, and good fusses and it won't even turn over. With summer coming to an end, and a recent purchase of a new PWC dock, I am at wits end. Is there some way to turn the engine manually? Any help is appreciated Please help The new battery is " Maintenance free" versus one that you have to fill on your own. It came with one you fill yourself. I'm not sure if that could be a problem. And just to clarify. The kill switch does have the key in it and the engine does nothing when we try to start it. ie It makes no sounds or anything.
I want to rent a jet ski for my 15th birthday but I dont know what the age requirement to drive one is?
I live in San Diego california and the place i'm looking to rent one doesnt say how old you have to be I know you have to be 18 to rent it, my mom would do that but its one of those places where you rent the jet ski and take it somewhere to ride it.I dont want to rent one for my and my friends if we cant drive it, so how old do you to be to do that?
Where can i find a carb rebuild kit for a 92 jet ski?
I have a 1992 kawasaki 750 ss and its not getting any fuel in the carb. when i put gas in the carb it fires, i think its the fuel pump. I checked the hoses and filter already. I need to know where I can buy a carb rebiuld kit for this ski.

i'm 13 and am getting my boaters licence and am going to buy a used 2004 2008 jet ski preferrably sea doo, or kawasaki but doesn't have to be for about $4,000. I want a fast jet ski not like unbelievably fast, but like a litlle over average speed jet ski what are some fast ones?

Last summer my dad purchased a jet ski. The previous owner had won it in a game show,and needed to sell it fast. It had like 14 miles on it at the time. We only used it once..Now its sitting on its trailer in the driveway..rotting in my opinion. Ive been working 40 hrs a week all summer, and havent gone anywhere done anything. i feel like summer's wasting,the lake is only 2hr drive..and were not allowed to use the jet ski because it needs a battery and an oil change. And dad doesnt care and is too lazy to do either. Well, I feel like thats a waste. So..I went to walmart, got the correct size battery. Now Im making a run to the marine store for 4 stroke oil. The dealership told me it doesnt have to be PWC oil just marine 4 stroke 10W 40. BUT..WHERE I LIVE THERE ARE NO JET SKI SUPPLY STORES..AND I NEED A FILTER WHAT FILTER WOULD IT TAKE?
