Is my jet ski ruined?
We have a 1998 Kawasaki 750 STX and we have properly winterized it. About a week ago it rained nonstop for a whole day and the tempature throughout the week got down to about 32 degrees. It has been stored outside without a cover and water had gotten in through the cap on the side right beside where your leg goes. So today when I went to check on it the whole entire engine compartment was filled with water all the way to the top. I tilted it up and got all the water out but i am wondering weather or not I should try to start it to get the water out of the engine or what I should do or if the engine is completely ruined? Please Help Thanks

Hot wire jet ski magneto?
i want to know if their is a way to hot wire the magneto on my older Kawasaki jet ski theirs 2 white wires 1 black wire and 1 red wire coming out of the motor we would like to use regular car external coil if possible what wires would we have to use to hot wire it also do you know where these wires go to? we are intelligent in the field of fabricating and small engines but never played with 2 STROKE jet ski motors.our friend we got the jet ski from spent laot of money on it and wed love to put it on a rideing mower or go kart WOW

How much does a big jet ski weigh?
Dads girlfriend is looking hard at a house on the water, about 1000 feet or so from a boat ramp. She wants to get a couple of jet skis, the big 3 seater things that are just a sad excuse of a boat. I would want to pull them out every other week or so, to wash them and flush them. My dad has an SUV that we tow our race boat with but our house is about 1.5 hours away and she has a little benz, so it would be nice to take that down instead of a big SUV. I was thinking I could pull them out with a diesel Ranger. The tow rating is 2000 pounds, so could I pull them both on 1 trailer up the boat ramp? Would I need them on separate trailers that's what I was thinking ? Is it totally impossible and will I end up with the Ranger in the water?
My 2003 jet ski wont stay on plz help me someone?
my 2003 sea doo jet ski will not stay on i have to pull the choke when ever i turn it on. the only way it will stay on is if i gas it but once i let go of the gas it turns off right away. iv tried to put in new spark plugs but doesent work i dont think there is water in the engine because it turns on and i really have no clue whats wrong with it and i am clue less plz help me some onei also have another jet ski its the same one and that one stays on but senase my brother started it in the water early it started to do that and i dont know what to do and i know it has to be in the water but when u dry start it it should stay on and i dont know how to replay so i justed added this lol

Hi All,I currently have a Yamaha Waverunner FX 140Its a 4 Stroke.I live in the North West United KingdomI had it serviced in FEB 2011It is now at my home in my garage, I have give it a good wash down & run water through the engine.Then tilted it back and ran it a few times to get all the water out, I have also got the water out of the hull as best I can.Disconnected the battery & put it on a slow charge.I have put a duvet down the sides of the engine and wrapped it in blankets.I will be getting the jet ski serviced in MARCH 2012Do I need to get it Winterized?I Dont think the temperature gets too low in the garage although it could possibly snow & freeze outside.Please Help Thank You
