You should be able to find a good used one (two-three yrs old) for around $10k. Look around and take your time. Ski/ Wake Board boats don't hold value very well. Be sure to have the boat checked and inspected before putting any money down. These boats take a lot of punishment and abuse as compared to other types of boats. Once the boat gets a clean inspection report, then take it out for a test drive on the water and run the boat for at least 20 minutes. Try looking in boattrader.com, boatus.com and check around ads on Craigslist.com. But be careful when doing searches on craigslist, lots of scams on that site. Only look at boats close to you so you can see the boat in person and get a "Marine Surveyor " to inspect the boat and title search to make sure everything is as it should be. |
