The usual way is to simply use the gauge on the container in which the oil is supplied. You should find that it is calibrated down one side in a number of appropriate ratios - and as 50:1 is probably the most common of all that will most certainly be there, among others. The calibrations are marked in gallons. Using the 50:1 gauge, simply dispense the required amount of oil, thus measured, for the gallons you intend to add it to - as read-off against these marks. Pour it into a small, clean container so as to avoid errors first, then add it to the tank with the gasoline. And that's it. -|--) |
