The trim & tilt on my boat gose up only for a few seconds then you have to turn the power off then back on & it will go up a little more for a few more seconds. Going down has no problem only going up it seems. I have changed relays & same thing. so the way up runns for 3- 4sec then stops untill you turn key off then back on.. Thank you

Check the power to the pump when it cuts off and see if there is power check all grounds if all working than the pump motor might be going bad as it takes a lot of power to go up an little to come down.U can by pass the wiring and power direct to the pump motor and see if it runs that way.Then U will know if wiring or motor.

Look for a circuit breaker on that circuit
