Question: Getting a lost title for jon boat?

I got a jon boat from a older man and he didnt have title for it so what do i do to file for lost title.But i dont konw where the guy is to take him up to the registration office

You don't need a "Title "! An unofficially, hand written sales contract entitles you as the owner - that'S it! It's not a car, it's a boat.
